Freak the Mighty

   The book Freak the Mighty, is one of my favorite books because all of the adventures that Kevin and Max had was in a book that Max narrated to explain there adventures after Freaks death. One of my favorite parts in the book is when Freak gives the book to Maxwell when he was in the hospital after his seizure and tells Max " This is for you to write down all of Freak the Mighty adventures."  And than that night Freak died. Max was confused and upset because Freak was suppose to get the Bionic body but that was just so it could make him feel better and not have to worry about dying soon.

   My favorite character was probably Max because he showed strength and courage with Freak. Freak showed Max how to read and write. Even at the end of the book when Max thought he couldn't write The Adventures of Freak the Mighty he did he tries his hardest and as soon he started he couldn't stop, he just keep on writing and writing and writing and he finally finished when spring started. Max also showed braveness when he jumped into the pond and keep Freak above the water ad not under it. This is why Max is my favorite character. Yes, these events could really happen in real life because its not impossible to have a body that grows on the inside but not the outside. Anybody could have a reading and writing disorder and anyone with a disorder can write a book on there adventures because its not impossible. Impossible says I'm Possible so anything is possible. My favorite part in the book is close to the end when Freaks in the hospital and believes that Max can write anything only if he believed in himself. I can relate with Fair Gwen of air because she was always there helping people and always wanting to do something to change what she was and I always change myself to make others proud and happy.

     Yes, I would recommend this book to a friend because its an amazing book that explains all of Freak the Mighty advantages and disadvantages. I would also recommend this book to a friend because there true friendship in the book between Kevin and Maxwell.

How to make Vegan Cupcakes

     Want a cupcake but, a vegan? There are so many things with vegan food just you have to find the right recipe. Some kids who are vegan can't eat cupcakes because vegan requires no animal based products, and this recipe would be good for them. Also they kinda taste like your normal cupcakes.

Your ingredients for making these cupcakes are: 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 1/2 cups almond milk, 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup white sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup coconut oil, warmed until liquid, and 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla extract.
  

   Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two 12 cup muffin pans or line with 18 paper baking cups.Measure the apple cider vinegar into a 2 cup measuring cup. Fill with almond milk to make 1 1/2 cups. Let stand until curdled, about 5 minutes. In a large bowl, Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk mixture, coconut oil and vanilla. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Spoon the batter into the prepared cups, dividing evenly.Bake in the preheated oven until the tops spring back when lightly pressed, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool in the pan set over a wire rack. When cool, arrange the cupcakes on a serving platter. Frost with desired frosting.

How to Make Pumpkin Pancakes

  Have you ever had that good October taste? That sweet taste you make from Jack-O-Lantern from. Today, I'm going to show you how to make Pumpkin Pancakes. These are good to make because anybody who enjoys Pumpkins would probably like this recipe. Pumpkin Pancakes are good especially during October and November which is time were you usually go to Orchards.

To make the pancake batter you will need 1 1/2 cups of milk, 1 cup of pumpkin puree, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2  teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of ground spice, 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoons of salt.
    
      In a bowl, mix together the milk, pumpkin, egg, oil and vinegar. Combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon, ginger and salt in a separate bowl. Stir into the pumpkin mixture just enough to combine.Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
