USMC

     USMC is the United States Marine Corps. These are men have been fighting since November 10,1775. USMC is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for providing power projection. The Marine is a component of the United States Department of the Navy. Most people ask what does the Eagle Globe and Anchor symbolize. For the Eagle it stands for freedom. For the Globe it stands for the world and then anchor stands for the men who go over seas.

    My grand father was a Marine. He was the 2nd Baton. The Marine's slogan is The few. The proud. The Marine's. I have always wanted to go see the sites for Marine's because having many people in your family as a Marine means a lot to me.
